European law requires an information society service to make its operator easily, directly and permanently identifiable. This page is that record. Every other page on this site refers here instead of repeating the details, so there is one thing to keep correct rather than sixty.

Email is the operative channel and reaches the operator directly. There is no call centre and no contact form, by design. Messages in English or Lithuanian are answered.
What this service is, and is not
SnowReport.app publishes automated interpretations of public numerical weather model output, together with editorial resort information. It is not a national weather service, an avalanche authority or a road authority, and nothing on it is an official warning. Forecasts are estimates that can be wrong; the terms of use set out what that means for safety decisions, and the FAQ and methodology shows the working.
No contract for goods or services is concluded through this site. Nothing here is a booking, a quote or an offer, and the site sells nothing of its own. Where a page carries a labelled partner link, the seller is that partner and its own terms apply; how those links work, and which partners are active, is disclosed in full in section 7 of the terms and in the privacy note.
Responsibility for content
The operator named above is responsible for the content of this site. Every number is either computed from the published methodology or read from a named source with a read date, and estimates are labelled as estimates. Corrections are published rather than argued with: write to hello@plainforge.com and, where a figure is wrong, the fix ships with a note.
Disputes and applicable law
Since no consumer contracts are concluded through this site, the European rules attaching to online sales and service contracts do not apply to your use of it. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025 and is deliberately not linked here.
Use of this site is governed by the terms of use. The operator is established in the Republic of Lithuania, and this notice is provided under Lithuanian law implementing Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce.
Data protection
This site sets no cookies, runs no trackers and has no server of its own that could store anything about you. Data protection questions, the identity of the controller, the processor that serves the files and your right to complain to the Lithuanian supervisory authority are all handled in the privacy note.

This page is the single authoritative statement of operator identity for snowreport.app. If any other page appears to state different operator details, this page prevails and the discrepancy is a bug worth reporting.
